Hello, all- Is anyone out there familiar with the newer reproduction trunk spears available through Corvette Central? Are they a better quality than the earlier repros that were floating around a while back, as for fit, finish, correct lines, and weight? I Emailed CC about them twice, and all I got back was "our trunk spears are very nice"... some testimonial. Thanks.

The new repro trunck irons are very nice. The older reproduction were solid cast which made them too heavy and caused the trunck lid, when opened, to sag to low. The new repros are made similar to the originals and will fit and work nicely for you -
