My neighbor gave me a Ram Horn exhaust manifold and I,ve looked up the #'s in my Corvette by the numbers book and can't seem to identify the correct application for these numbers 3733876 RH GM1 and on the back..C1857. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...Rich

I checked both my 75 edition and Dec 83 edition of the Corvette P&A...neither of which listed this particular number for an exhaust manifold (numbers 3733876 RH GM1 and on the back..C1857).
I figured the C1857 date code translates to Mar 18 1957. Checking Colvin's latest edition of "corvettes by the number" cast number 3733976 was used in 57 on the right hand side...no indication for the left side but note your number (3733876)is close and consistent with a 57 series number sequence.Tom Russo

Thanks for the quick response Tom, My book also showed the #3733976 as being RH for a 57. This manifold clearly has an 8 as the 5th digit and that was throwing me off. Oh well, I'll tell my vette friend that it appears to be for a 57, unless I find out different. RichComment
