'57 Clutch Fork Boot?

Anyone know if the '57 used a leather boot where the clutch fork comes through the hole in the side of the bellhousing? CC shows one in their catalog, but I show no reference to it in AIM, ST-12, Pass Car Shop Manual, Chassis Service Publications, NCRS Judging Manual, Noland's book, etc. Thanks -

Passenger car applications for the era MAY have used such a boot, but I don't believe that Corvettes ever did.
