'67 Blower Fan Switch; Need help..

    Hi Everyone,

On an earlier post I asked about replacement blower fan switches. I also mentioned that I had used epoxy to repair the small insulator board on the back of the switch, that had somehow cracked. I am pleased to say that the epoxy has worked well. However, as I was re-assembling the switch parts into the housing, the spring, plastic retainer and circular copper contact slipped from my butterfingers and came apart. I recovered the plastic retainer and spring, but the circular copper contact flew across the room. After several hours of intensive searching, I have been unable to find it.

I am hoping that someone out there has an extra one of these circular copper contacts in their junk parts collection. Any help on solving this missing (and embarrassing) parts problem would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Told you the expoxy would fix the board -- thanks for confirming! On the 'butterfingers' issue, it happens to all of us. Small parts when they get loose seem to 'hide' and have minds of their own....

Bet you another round, that if you go to a scrap yard and fetch the blower motor switch out of a few '67 era Chevy passenger cars, you'll find the elusive contact components you seek.
