Re: C2 - 1964 Foam around heater box
John, are you absolutely sure? on page D69 of the AIM Sheet B5.00 heater blower assy, it shows item number 3830770 insulator and references the use of cement to seal it, but the assembly drawing appears to show it glued to the outer lip of the box? Look at the cutaway that is at the end of the line showing item number 1.
Can anyone look under there dash and see that u-shaped foam?
I want to make sure you were speaking to part number 3830770, (It is a large U shape) instead of the square shaped seal 3825301?
I need to finalize this before the rest of the interior is locked up? HelpDino Lanno- Top

I'm looking at the '65 A.I.M. (same parts), and the "U"-shaped 770 seal gets glued to the heater case, and the 301 foam seal gets glued to the dash; the glue symbols adjacent to the part callouts are shown next to item [3-Cement] at the top of the page, which show where the glue is to be applied.- Top
