C3 Intake Manifold paint

Is there a gm part number for 1980 intake manifold paint? If not what brand and color should I use?

The curent GM part number for 11 oz aerosol cans of the CORPORATE BLUE paint used for 1980 Corvette engines is GM #12346300.

The NCRS Corvette Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide says on page 80; the manifold and thermostat outlet was painted with a dull aluminum paint. Not blue.

You are correct and I mis-spoke. I forgot that all 1980 Corvettes used an aluminum intake manifold. If you want to paint your heads, block, or water pump, use the paint I mentioned, but don't use it for the intake manifold.

The silver paint which was/is available from GM, I have been told is too bright to simulate the original paint. I will have to defer to someone else who has experience using the various aftermarket aluminum paints. I'm sure that there must be one or more out there that will duplicate the original sheen.
