    C3 Door Lock Screws - Plated or Painted?

    On a '72, are the the 3 screws that hold the door lock mechanism in place plated or painted ??? These are the ones where the heads are visible in the door jamb. The judging guide doesn't say, MF Dobbins seems to have pictures where they are painted. But I can't imagine an assembly sequence where they are paint but the door lock mechanism is not painted.

    What is correct ???

        Hi Mike,

        NM = No Message

        TL = Team Leader

        Terry's answer to you was in the subject line and the screws are plated, not painted.

        Thanks,

          NM explained *TL*

          NM = no message. That is placed automatically in the header when there is no message so that one doesn't need to look for a message that doesn't exist. A time saver.

          TL = Team Leader. A designation given to National Team Leaders, club employees and officers. This is explained on the first page of the discussion board.
