Is the Eastwood tin-zinc electroplating system what I need to plate nuts and bolts for my 1960? Or is there a better product for this? I am only going to plate a few nuts and bolts at a time, not a "large scale" operation.

Re: Tin-Zinc Electroplating
I purchase the Caswell system instead of the Eastwood system. Have not used it yet. Several posters had used the Caswell products and were satisfied with it. I liked the power transformer in the Caswell system over the batteries in the Eastwood.

Re: Tin-Zinc Electroplating
I have both the Caswell system as well as the Eastwood system, the Caswell produces a better finish. It also will allow you to plate larger parts such as your hood hinges, hood and door strickers, etc. I also found it easier to buy new nuts and bolts rather than replating.- Top
