    67 SB fan shroud color

I have a May 67 built SB. I located a used fan shroud. It is in good condition but the color is a medium gray with black paint, not a dark gray like the Judging Manual says it should be. It also has one flat head rivit on the upper driver's side. Is this correct for my car? If not, what is the correct application for it?

The finish is natural, no paint and it should be a glued assembly not riveted.

I have purchased years ago a shroud or should I say the 3 pieces from GM that get glued together. Two of the pieces are a dark grey to almost black as should be on original cars. The third piece is a light to medium grey. Possibly the shroud you have was purchased in pieces from GM as I did and they put together incorrectly. I still hae the pieces but never used them as the color of the third piece is incorrect. Possibly Joe Lucia can help here.
