What is the correct finish for a 64 power brake master cylinder and cap?

For 1964, I believe that it was zinc plated with an irridite ("gold") finish.

The master cylinder casting was painted semi-gloss black.

Yes, it was also painted semi-gloss black and the cap was also zinc plated with irridite ("gold") finish.
