I am rebuilding a 62, that someone was starting to make into a drag car. The body has not been hacked on, but the drive train is another story. My question is the rear end, third member,(carrier). Its in the correct posi-housing, but the carrier is marked 3707306GM12, with no P stamp. I am told that early posi's did not have the stamp and on the passenger side the carrier is lightly stamped AA 323 or AA626, it very hard to read, it has two yellow dabs of paint abover this stamp. If anyone has some thoughts, please respond, I can't find it in my books, thanks Greg
