    tri power drip

I have a 67/427/400hp tri power. The problem is that the front carb drips gas for about ten minutes after shutting the car off. I am assuming it is doing that only after the car is off. I have replaced all the gaskets and seals with no change in the drip. It makes it very hard to start the car when the engine is warm. Does anyone have an idea. Could it be a warped metering plate? I have checked for cracks.

Roger, also check that the float bowl is not too full; today's gasoline expands much more than "yester-years" and with heat soak after shutoff, you may be getting oveflow.

      Good Luck
