When the A.I.M. references an "Instruction", that's a separate Engineering document that was issued to the plant as guidance for the assembly process, or for mandatory assembly or repair sequences that aren't shown in the A.I.M. I remember keeping a binder of them in the 60's when my group was responsible for all Chevrolet assembly plant processes and tooling, but they were relatively informal internal documents (although they had a part number on them), generally an illustration and some text, and I haven't seen one since then. We don't see them reproduced, as they weren't part of the A.I.M.
