    CRACKED CYLINDER HEAD

Can anyone reccomend a central Texas shop which can repair a cracked head off my 60? If not I am looking for a casting #3774692 head with a A40 date code. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: CRACKED CYLINDER HEAD

There is a guy outside of Houston that repaired a cracked head for me several years ago. I just called and he is still there. His name is Ed Swaney @ The Block Shop. His # is 713-472-1313. He did a very good job on my head, which I broke in the thin part around the boss for the temp sending unit, and it never leaked and was cosmetically very nice.

    Hope this helps.
