    C3 Seat track

What is the correct finish for the seat tracks on a 68?
I am restoring my seats and found the seat tracks to be very corroded. The rear brackets needs to replace.
My plan is to weld new brackets on, then sandblast the tracks and then finish with paint.
Should they be flat black like the seatframes?

The 68-69 Judging Guide text reads pretty clearly....

"The seat-adjusting rails are painted semi-flat black in most of 1968, but become unfinished natural steel or gray phosphate sometime late in production through all of 1969. They are held to the floor with one black phosphate recessed hex-head bolt at each end of each rail."
