    correct resin color

Hey fellas! Anyone know where I can find some paint that matches the correct resin color for a midyear?? You know the "honey" color of bare fiberglass. I have a few spots that required patching on the underbody.

    Thanks in advance.

Each years fiberglass was different shades, my 64 was light gray with no honey color whatsoever, I have seen that shade on underbody of solid axles but not any midyears other than maybe a 63?

I guess I should have clarified....this is for an early 63 which from what I've read has the same honey color as the earlier strait axles. Thanks Dan..

My impression of the various mid-year(c-2 ) fiberglass panel colors: l963 up to about vin 21000- all these babies were yellow/tan panels like the 56-62s.Late 63 thru 66 were light gray. 67's , for the most part , were dark gray(charcoal) in color. Have and have seen pink, light green and white GM service replacement panels, but tan, lite gray and dark gray are all i have ever seen as original midyear panel colors.Might add that ALL 36 gal tankers(NO3) built from 63 to 67 , had yellow /tan rear quarters like early 63 vet panels. THE PAINT YOU NEED DEPENDS ON WHAT YEAR PANEL YOU'RE DEALING WITH. MIKE
