C1 & C2 Floppy Outside Mirrors

How do I stabilize my floppy outside rear view mirrors? They are too loose and won't stay where I want them.

Try a drop of blue loctite on the ball.

if the slop occurs at the pivot ball, the loctite or valve lapping comp is a temporary fix.If the slop is at the base of the mirror stand, tru putting shims on either side of the bracket that is fastened to the door. good luck, mike
