I've posted on this subject before but did not reach a satisfactory conclusion
so thought would try again.
I have a gypsy red 55 corvette with beige/red interior (original interior) and
would like to replace with correct color interior but the red sample I received from Al Knoch definately too burgandy looking. Apparently the gypsy red cars had a much brighter red interior than other red (burgandy) used on the interior of other color 55 interiors( my color red is much closer to the bright red on 57 cars). The burgandy doesn't even look right with the gyspy red but the brighter red sure does.
Fading not an issue here as I am matching to the vinyl behind the dash rail which has been protected from the sun all these years. Would sure like to hear from anyone who has some insight to this problem. Larry #4519
