Looks like some kind of horn on the drivers side of my 1970 Corvette back near the gas tank. I know its not the normal horns, as they are up front. This one is long and shaped like a horn. Thanks for the help.

It is the horn for the Anti Theft system. Your car should have a key in the rear valence and a relay in the well behind the passenger seat along with switches in each door and at the rear of the hood. It was an option in the early C3's and may have become standard in the mid 70's. -

The C3 factory alarm system became standard equipment in 1972. The fiber optics light monitoring system was deleted as standard equipment in 1972 in favor or making the factory alarm system standard equipment.Comment
