    Alarm system

Is there any one whos knows where to buy a 1976 alarm relay I replaced all alarm parts horn key switch ect but can not locate a relay and now when you turn the key switch the alarm sounds with the doors and hood closed so I think it could be shorting out because of no relay.Could I use a regular horn relay?
    Thankyou

I would check the three switches as they are the most common problem if the horn sounds. If you could hold all three switches down all the way and check it you may find the problem.

If the points in the relay are stuck closed, you could probably repair the original relay. The cover can be removed and the points cleaned/filed. Since the alarm sounds when activated, the relay is probably OK.
      Just something else to try.
