Big Block push rods and rockers

I am rebuilding a 65 396 / 425 HP and need some part number help. I would like to know the currently available p/n for the push rods (intake and exhaust) and rocker arms. How do these parts differ from the original if at all. My old push rods are 3/8" and have balls on the ends. My rockers have an "x" marking above the valve tip area. I don't know if these are original parts.

rocker arm kit,16 rockers,balls and nuts are part # 12368085 and the push rods are part # 10134307 for the intake and 10134308 for the exhaust and you will nee 8 of each part number for the pushrods. these are 3/8" diameter one piece pushrods without the welded on balls

Your rocker arms are likely original. The original rocker arms used for 1965 big blocks with SHP often had an "X" on the valve end. They may also have had an "H".

The rockers which are supplied in the GM kit that clem referred to are configured just like your originals except that they will have an "H" on the valve end.
