Re: C2 horn not working
Without knowing what all was changes with the engine, I would suggest starting at the relay and using that as a deciding point to move back to the switch ore foreword to the horns. If the system is properly grounded and powered, grounding the terminal that the 20 gauge tan (or black/tan stripe) connects to will do two things, A-actuvate the relay, B-blow the horns. Relay activation will cause a discernable "click" in the relay. If not present, either the relay is defective, or not being powered. follow the circuit and repair. If the relay clicks and the horns do not blow, then check each horn for function by connecting power directly at the horn. If relay activates and horns blow by activating the relay, then proceed up the column to the rag joint. Continuity thru the rag joint is a big issue in the C-2 series cars. If the rag joint contunity is OK then check the connection at the firewall under the steering column and on up to the connection at the steering column and the switch itself.Bill Clupper #618- Top
