    tri power

I would like to thank Dave and Wayne for the info on my 67 tri power drip after shutting the car down. It was without a doubt the metering plates on the out board carbs. I replaced them along with gaskets, accel. pump. The car runs perfect and idles perfect BUT when I accelerate quick I get a hesitation. Any ideas?

you may have too light a spring in the end carbs causing them to open too quickly.

      Re: tri power

From my experience there is no way to remove ALL of the tri powers hesitation; it is the way the system works. It should take fractions of a second, (optimally) for the vacuum signal to reach the diaphragms. If the hesitation seems protracted Clem, (as usual), has steered you to the probable source.
