Need info on holley factory restoring my carbs

Hello guys,
I have tried to contact Holley from out here on the the Mediterranean and I haven't had any luck, Im looking at having them restore my Tri power carbs to factory specs
Does anyone have any idea what they charge for this service

You may want to reconsider

They used to charge about $250 for four barrels. I don't know what they charge for two barrels.

Their carburetor rebuild work is, in my opinion, not the best out there. They do not machine the main body or throttle plate gasket surfaces. They do re-color the cast parts, and they replace most of the hardware pieces with new parts. They do not hot test their work on a car engine. Consequently, the peened-in-place plugs will sometimes leak when the carburetor is actually fed gasoline under pressure.

In your shoes I would find someone who machines the main bodies and tests their own work on an engine. I know Jerry Luck in Missouri does this, and there are other carb restorers who do it too. Ask other NCRS members who they have used with success.

Holley would be the last place I'd send my carbs to. As we speak mine are at Mr. Luck's establishment. I'm prepared to wait several months as he is very busy. Bob Kunz charges $750.00 and does excellent work. Chicago Corvette and Jerry MacNeish also do tri power carbs.

Jerry Luck is ACES in my book, I have also heard Jerry MacNeish does great work but my personal experience with Jerry has been superb...Craig

Chicago Corvette usually just sends the tri-powers to Jerry Luck. Skip the middle man.

I'd never send a carb to Chicago Corvette if they were the last carb business on the face of the earth. But that's just my personal experience. And my partner's. And his neighbor's. And...

But the carbs I was going to buy I lost the deal
do you guys know if he has carbs for sale?

If not Ill find some I just got excited because of a deal on ebay but I was asleep for the closing
I have a good intake at the house but that's it I need everything else

My car is a July 69 build date I have my engine block lined up and just looking for that good deal on the carbs they seam so hard to find with the right dates

what was is a good date for my car?
The ones I had been looking at were April 69 for all three.
