Re: cleaning antifreeze from carpet
My heater core did the same thing on my driver. Believe it or not, I soaked the daylights out of my carpet with water and used a powerful shop wet/dry vac to pull all the diluted glycol and water out of the carpet. I did this three or four times. Once the glycol is diluted down enough the carpet is mainly wet with water. Antifreeze will take forever to evaporate on it's own. The rug was wet for a while but eventually summer came and it did dry up without any residue. (Just a suggestion.) If it's a show car I'd pull the carpet wash it with water wet vac it and put it outside to dry along with the jute. Hopefully the jute won't fall apart.'72 Top Flight Coupe- Top
