Intake manifold and carburetor.

I have acquired an aluminum intake manifold (#3794129) with a Carter AFB carburetor (#2897S) mounted on top. It appears new!
Can anyone tell me about this manifold/carburetor combination?
I'm new to this so any information about the vintage of this and car/cars it was used on would help.

The GM #3794129 intake manifold was used exclusively on 1963 Corvettes with 340 hp engine. I have no record of any Carter AFB with the number 2897S. I don't think that this number was ever used for an AFB if it was used for any Carter carburetor, at all. You better check that number again.

2897 is a good number and it is for a chevy but need to check more to get closer.
