      There is another alternative, New Castle Battery company in New Castle PA still makes a reproduction Tartop, same as they have made for the last 20 years or so. They are reasonable, (about $120) and are still a genuine tartop. Phone (724) 658-5501

          Peter,

          I got the acid eating battery mat from Corvette Central. I am sure others have them but that is one source, I think it was $5.00.
