Can anyone provide us with the original part # and a picture of the temp sending unit from a 1971, 454 LS5?

It was a GM #6400759. This sender has a bayonet (pin-style) terminal. Lectric Limited now sells reproductions of all the 55-82 Corvette temp senders which are calibrated properly. I don't know if they contain the Delco embossing. However, I'm not even sure that all of the originals did (I've got several NOS and my original that I'll have to check sometime [none for sale]).

Getting the connector used with this sender (which was used from 68-71) is harder than getting the sender, itself. I don't know if Lectric Limited has those, or not.
