C3 weight of bare frame

Does anybody have an idea of how much a bare 72 frame weighs?

I do not know the exact weight of a bare 72, but I remember being able to pick up my bare 72 frame very easily with just two people. I'm guessing it weighs around 200 lbs.

Some years ago, about 15, my Father-in-Law purchased a new frame from GM. As I recall, it was more in the 300 lb. range.

This question gets asked once every 6 months............and the answer is 147lbs. This is for a 1972 four speed frame stripped.
I had my frame dipped and that was how they charged was by the pound.....Hope that helps
