    Wind noise

I may be asking a stupid question but here goes; I recently drove my 67 coupe for the first time in 25 years (don't ask). Although the weather strips are new I have a lot more wind noise than I remember. I also noticed the weather strip over the door was not aligned with the roof surface but was actually about a 1/4" to 3/16" below the surface. Can this be causing me to hear wind noise? Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Re: Wind noise

Are your fresh air vents open? If I drive with them open and with the windows closed I get a terrible howling noise. If I close them it is silent.

john: try brian's suggestion first and if there is still noise, adjust the door window glass to the top weatherstrip and if that doesn't work to suppress the noises, try BEANO.mike
