Instrument panel council locator

I am trying to locate part number 27 shown on the AIM page A9 "instrument panel body frame" My part number 27 "strip bonding" broke off( I still have the part) before the body was painted and now I can't tell where it should go. Any measurement would be appreciated. Jerry

On my 65 coupe the bonding strip is about 1 1/8 up from the "bump". You should be able to tell by placing the dash in place and I think the location would be apparent.

The dash is out. I wonder if I can wait until I install the dash and glue it in using the dash as a locator.???
