C3: Distributor

I just found a distributor with Delco Remey Tag 9D21 (1969 April 21?) part #1111490 in my garage. Has vacuum advance, points, rotor and tach drive. Looks like the day I removed it from the Vette in 69 to put in a Mallory. Has anyone seen any of the same type for sale to give me a ballpark price? I think I took it out of a 390hp 427ci but not sure.

The original usage for the 1111490 was '69 and early '70 350/300hp engines.

John thanks for the info this one must have been from my 70 Vette not the big block 69. Any close idea of the value of such an animal?

Gene based on the information from this distributor it could more likely been on a 69. The 1969 model year as I am sure you know was until Dec 69. The 70 model year began in Jan 70 and did use the distributor id number you have in the early production 70's, but I don't think they would be using a April69 dated distributor for early production 70's based on the longer model year production of the 69's. Your build date of your 70 would also help in this determination. As to value, if your distributor still has the point/condensor original two piece metal ignition protector installed with the labeling it would be worth more to someone that needs/wants one.
