I have a decision to make and I need your input. I have two pairs of door panels. Both are red and in decent shape but there is a visual difference between them. Specifically, one pair has a wider looking seam (the long horizontal seam above the door metal) than the other. Would several of you who have "original" 1959 door panels please look at these two pictures, compare them to yours, and tell me which is "correct"? The Noland Adams Restoration & Technical Guide (Volume 1/1st printing) seems to show the wider one on page 218). I made the pictures larger to show the detail so I apologize in advance to you 56k-ers out there for the loading time. Here is the link to one of the pictures.
