Help! I didn't reinstall my original GM part number labels from my 1972 Corvette when I removed the original front carpets and washed them in 1987! I saved them, of course, as this car is unmolested and unrestored. I now want to finally reinstall them, and forget their proper istallation, I do not know how they were oriented and at what corner they were installed, and if they were upside-down, or not. I hope somebody can help, thanks! Mark

Re: 1972 FRONT Carpet ORIG label installation?
Mark,
What labels are you talking about??? I'm having a difficult time visualizing any labels on the carpet that one might see. The only ones I've ever seen are 1) under the carpet, or 2) on the inside of the rear compartment doors. Those, of course, you wouldn't bother when you worked on the front carpet.
Any clues? I don't see any one my own 72, which is also unmolested and unrestored.
