    1968 Correct Decals/placement

    For a 68 BB convertible, I am looking for the correct decals and placement. E.g. GM Mark of Excel and Tire pressure on the doors, emisions, in the engine compartment, etc.

      Get "Fact Book" by M.F. Dobbins. It shows all.

              A '68 has no GM "mark of excellence" decal on the door nor the tire pressure decal either. The tire pressure decal, posi-traction warning, and jack instructions are glued on the underside of the RH storage box lid. Engine compartment decals will vary according to engines and options. Consult Dobbins's book or someone with an original car.

                  A '68 has no GM "mark of excellence" decal on the door nor the tire pressure decal either. The tire pressure decal, posi-traction warning, and jack instructions are glued on the underside of the RH storage box lid. Engine compartment decals will vary according to engines and options. Consult Dobbins's book or someone with an original car.

                      Jeff, The emissions decal on 68's after about 6,000 serial number is over the left side hood latch on firewall fiberglass. Prior to approx. number 6,000 build the emission decal is on the left top side of the radiator.

                              Rodgers right, The book is good but has it's errors. pg. 60 for location of jack instruction, tire pressure, and positraction. What type of Big Block??L36 etc.?? pg. 24/27 for picture of emmission sticker on radiator pg 31 shows it on the firewall by the power brake booster. pg 81 shows one on a 69, seems to be correct location or 96
