I recently installed aheadliner from Corvette Central but 2 weeks later the vinyl separated form the underlying formed plastic and droops.Has anyone else had asimilar problem?-bad part or could a wind leak from the doors be getting between the parts of the headliner and causing the separation?

Re: c2 headliner separating
i had similar problem with an al knoch top for my 67 when i restored it in l984. Al replaced the defective headliner and no pproblems since. Doubt wind leaks could be significant enough to cause your problem. call corv central and see what they say. good luck, mike- Top

Re: c2 headliner separating
I had this happen twice to liners I bought from Al for my 65. Figured some of problem was the heat in the garage where car sat in summer. I sent them back as they said they were having problems with glue. I tried 3M super WS spray adhesive, but it really didn't work. You may have to try more than one to get one that stays. Just not like the GM original with the laminated foam intermediate layer.- Top
