    C1 MOTOR MOUNT BRACKET

I am installing the motor mount brackets on my 61. The driver's side mount is square to the frame. The passengers side is sitting flat to the frame but is angled towards the front. They are not paraell to each other. The bracket on the frame where the mounts bolts to seem a little bent. I am not sure if I am explaning it so you can understand how they are. The top holes where the engine will bolt to seems like they line up. The engine seems like it will be sitting straight. Its just the right side bracet itslef is angled to the front. The brackets are not in a straight line with eact other. Thanks for the help.

has the car been hit in the front? i have seen several that way. look to see if the bracket is twisted or the frame plate itself is bent. the support bracket can be replaced or fixed. if the frame plate is bent you will need to do some measuring to check and see if the frame itself is bent. if not, straighten the plate.
