    Hi Everyone,
    I took apart my WCFB off my 63 Coup this weekend. I think I replaced the primary and secondary jets backwards. I assumed the large hole jets were the secondaries. I couldn't keep it running. After reading the shop manual again, I noticed the bold print. Sound like the answer? Also, did all Carter WCFB come with metering rod disks. I didn't find any this weekend.

      the larger diameter jets go in the primary side. every wcfb i ever worked on had the metering rod disks. if i remember correctly you can use a #2 machine screw flat washer for the disk

          If the metering rod disk are missing you will never know, it's OK if they are missing.

                  they are there to prevent fuel from being forced up thru the holes in the top cover when braking hard. if you do not auto cross or track race you will not have a problem.
