    Tremec TKO for a 1960/C1

I have a 1960 that has a blown transmission...looking onto my options. I don't mind an original tranny for that year, but performance is more of an issue since the car has a 400HP modified ZZ4 (350CI). Has anyone heard anything about the Tremec TKO? A 5-speed that should fit with only minor modifications to the x-member mounting bracket and a shortened driveshaft. Has anyone installed one in a car of their own? Happy with it? Installed pretty well?
My other options include Richmond Super T-10 or a Muncie, but they seem to cost just as much and offer no more.

Since you are considering alternative transmissions, add a Doug Nash/Richmond 5-speed to your list. They are expensive but bullet proof. A 5-speed with a 3.08 rearend drives like a 4.56 and a close ratio 4-speed in the first four gears.
