C-1 Heater Box

Hello all,

Damm! I should take better notes! I am reinstalling my heater core box. There are four studs. One is shorter. Looking from the engine compartment, where does the shorter one go? I belive it is one the lower right to clear the exhaust manifold.

Any help?

Skip:
Shorter bolt is located on lower left, drivers side, to clear the radio shielding. Not sure that the exhaust manifold would be in the way.

Ahh... Thanks Gary. I kinda remember the shorter one being there. Since my lower shielding is still missing I didn't see that. Someday I will have the shielding. I hope...

agree with gary- long bolt there will interfere with valve cover. mike

Thanks Gary & Mike, The heater Box is back in place. Not easy for one person! In the morning the hoses will go back on, fill her up, Check for leaks and back on the road! After I finish cleaning my carpet!!! Did you know prestone coolant doesn't evaporate!
