    1966 headlight Electrical problem

Just reinstalled the headlights in my '66 after extensive work. Lights work OK, both low and high beams, but on low beam the high beam lamps have a slight glow on the elements.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks, Ronnie

Best bet is a grounding problem, recheck all grounds, remember the star washer goes between the wire terminal and the metal framework, not on the bolt head side. The purpose of the star washer is to break thru the paint to obtain a solid ground.
