I have a 1967 high-optioned L-71 convertible that needs a little restoration work before it is ready for Bloomington. The car was restored several years ago and the job was acceptable, just not quite Bloomington Gold quality. I don't have the time or patience to do the work myself. Any recommendations for a good quality restoration shop in the midwest (I live in Indiana)? I've seen Bob Kinzer's (Michigan) work shown quite a bit in the Cars and Parts Corvette magazine over the years. Any recommendations (or people to avoid) will be appreciated.

Re: restoration shop in midwest
My recommendation would be to contact Steve Hack of Eastern Corvettes,Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a member of the Queen City NCRS. Work is excellent, Bloomington quality. Phone 513-553-2080. I dont think you can go wrong if you are looking for that quality of work. Mike Chase- Top

I highly recommend Twin Oaks in Iowa....Todd Spain has restored many cars which went on to be awarded a Duntov. His work has also been very successful at Bloomington. He and his team are absolutely reliable and do superb work.- Top
