What is the correct adhesive to use to install new heater seals (ones with no self-stick backing)?

Sorry, I meant to answer this the other day and didn't get back to it. For any seal which requires adhesive, I'd use 3M weatherstrip adhesive. The "yellow" type is the more "heavy duty" and durable, so that's the thing to use. No one will be the wiser until they come up with some real small judge that crawl his way up into the heater box.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

RTV (silicon bathtub caulk) should work pretty good for this and it comes in clear with no chance of 'overspray'....- Top
