I'm replacing the wheel bearings on my 66, and would like to recondition the hub as well. There's no section in the AIM adressing how this part was finished - i.e. was it painted, if so what color etc. Mine has got years of grease and break dust on it, so it's impossible to tell what the original looked like. Any help is appreciated.
