local ncrs advice

my friend owns an immaculate 78 vette. he is the third owner and based on our research the car appears to be completely original, having original tires, belts, etc.

he would like to have it judged but we wanted a professional opinion so we don't miss anything prior to taking it somewhere. so are there any local members with judging experience in the Erie Pennsylvania area whom we could contact to assist us? any help would be appreciated.

I should know this answer...but off hand, Vito (vittovett@aol.com is in the New Jershey and he may be closer to direct you to a source. Vito is both a team leader and a judge for 78-82 and familiar with the NCRS system.

I would purchase a judging manual if you strike out with a judge.And follow it closeley.There is some INCREADABLE information in these manuals.Well worth the price of them 10 times over.They can be purchased from the NCRS book store.There is a memebrs price and a non members price the cost of being a member is also real affourdable so I would recomend both you guys join up if you havent allready.
