Heater Hose for 1971.454 with AC

Back to my Heater Hose Issue. I have tried without sucsess to find ribbed heater hose for my Air Conditioned 71. New Ribbed hoses with moulded ends just arn't available. Several Vendors informed me that Cars with AC had non-ribbed hoses with moulded ends and cars without AC used ribbed hoses without molded ends. Since the MFG used the ribs to identify their product,is it possible that the mfg of hose's with moulded ends for AC cars used no ribs.Is their anyone out their with a 70 or 71 AC car have any absolute, without a doubt knowledge regarding this issue.

The heater hose installed originally may have come from one or more vendors and may have hot had the exact same appearance month to month. I would buy what the vendors sell if they are all the same it is your only choice. I know in judging not 71 but other years the two hoses and four clamps are four points each way and if you split the six pices into five areas of originalty may give the judge a real challange as cutting those little points up is not allowed. Good luck on finding a clear cut answer as all I gave was food for thought.
