I am ready to rebuild the front suspension on my 65 coupe and was wondering if the parts I should purchase are best from Vette Brake Parts. I want the original style rubber and I may have it judged in the future so with that in mind what is the beat source? I will redo the ball joints and bushings because the are so deteriorated. Springs will be replaced also but how do you determine the correct lbs or weight of the spring? I have a 327 375 HP. Thanks for your input in advance!

Re: C2 Front suspension
Hi Jim:
We have successfully top flighted cars using Van Steel front bushings with no deducts at the Orlando REGIONAL
In my opinion they are the most correct looking of what is currently available.
With all due respect to Vette brakes, (we use their caliper kits exclusively) they seem to focus on aftermarket upgrade designs. The ball joints are a problem; original configuration ball joints are unavailable to the best of my knowledge.
Most reproduction springs have a rate that will replicate the originals unless you specify otherwise.
Best of luck
