Try Fred Oliva at Unique Automotive Research...

if you want a zero deduct restored original. Not cheap but he is highly recommended by many restorers/enthusiasts. Search for Fred Oliva in the archives for contact info, sorry I don't have his phone # handy.

      Regards, Larry

        GM part number 3916141

It's the service replacement part that's similar in appearance but by no means exactly like the original. List price is $190 but you may be able to get a better price

Yes, from the perspective of BOTH driving and show, I think that the GM #3916141 is the way to go. It's very close in configuration to the original units and it will perform like a new clutch. It "engages" at a little higher temp than the originals, though. For show-only cars ("trailer queens") or mostly show-only cars, Fred Oliva's original rebuilds are probably the way to go.

            Addendum

Also, the 3916141 is the one that Paragon and many other Corvette parts suppliers sell.

Fred Oliva contact info is foliva@gate.net or 954-755-1161. I highly recommend his product and service. I recently purchased a correct completely rebuilt 12-19-69 SC fan clutch for my '70 LT-1 from him.
