    Another message for Patrick Hulst

Just read below that you advised Peter Bouza on using liqued foam on his dash pad. Was this to replace the dried out foam on the inside that seems to fall out whenver you jar the dash? My pad on the '59 is in very good (not show) condition and I was thinking about trying to gently fill up it's inner voids with liqued foam. Any tips you can offer? Brand of foam ect.?

    Thanks,
    Tom Bryant

Sounds like Patrick should/could do a story for The Restorer.

Yeah, but the technique was used many, many years ago on a Volkswagen.

I won't hold that against you, if it works for Corvettes too.

I thought it was Patrick's silly Cutlass vacuum hoses. Oh, that's right, I need the hoses, I don't make them.

More accurately, Patrick's patches would be the valve cover suffix stickers for 70-72 cars.

              Doc,

You make an interesting point. This could be a new start for Patrick. Of course, seeing as he is a medical doctor, he may be able to also use this procedure in the medical field for cosmetic "enhancements", if you get my drift.
