Differential Tag

Can someone please help me out.I have a 1962 corvette with 3:36 gears.I purchased a tag from corvette central.The tag in there book for 3:36 gears showed 2 holes.One for the bolt and one hole exposed.In a book I bought,there was a picture of an untouched unrestored differential of a 1962 3:36 gears.The tag had no holes in it except the mounting hole.I sent a picture and a letter to corvette central trying to get an answer.No help.Can anyone out there with 3:36 gears please check your differential and let me know which is right?

Thanks for your response Dennis.The book with the picture of the tag is Corvette Chassis Restoration Guide 1953 through 1972 written by Joseph A. Tripoli,Jr.The picture is on page 53.It's a very clear picture.

Checked two 3:36 rear cars that are unrestored. Both have a round tag with one hole. One was a 3spd(CA) and the other was a positraction(CB).

Thanks Jon for that info. I now believe the 0ne hole tag is correct.
